Quill

Quill is a curious badger-drake hybrid who lives for discovery and ancient lore. Equipped with small dragon wings, a scaled tail, and starry, galaxy-filled eyes, Quill spends days mapping uncharted lands and studying forgotten ruins. Always prepared for adventure, Quill wears a small leather satchel containing a journal, pencil, and compass to record every new landmark encountered. Around Quill’s neck hangs a green gem necklace flanked by small brass bells, which chiming softly gives party members early warnings whenever magical traps or hidden passages are nearby. Though Quill’s wings are too tiny for long-distance flight, they allow for quick flutter-hops across dangerous gaps or pit traps. Friendly, detail-oriented, and remarkably clever, Quill makes an ideal guide for any adventuring party, keeping detailed logs of defeatable monsters, valuable loot locations, and safe shortcuts through tricky dungeons.
